I graduated from Midwestern University, where I earned my Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. Since then I have created a comprehensive range of clinical experience, providing services to adolescents and adults. I practice from evidence based theoretical orientations, including Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies while utilizing Mindfulness and overall positive health practices. These approaches help to address a variety of areas such as anxiety, depression, life changes, grief, relational stressors, and self-esteem. By utilizing cognitive and behavioral interventions along with healthy habits and coping skills I address concerns through the whole body. Along with my client, I help promote and improve motivation while managing and optimizing a strong sense of self confidence. I have also enjoyed teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as provided supervision to Post-doctoral students.
Most important to me, I am a mother and work full time at my practice and understands how stress, unhealthy-habits, and lack of time and energy can effect one’s overall well-being. It is because of this, educating and supporting others positive mental health practices and stress reduction has become a passion for me.
